Geoff Rose on Why Structure Dictates Function

Geoff Rose left a career as a strength coach at Clemson convinced the model was the problem, not the coaches or the methodology, since athletes never got enough time to build real structure before piling on load. He now runs REP Athletics in Larchmont, working with elite athletes and chronic pain patients on the same core idea: structure dictates function. Fix the alignment of the pelvis, ankle, or fascia, Rose explained, and both pain and performance move in the right direction.
